Lenovo is buying Fujitsu PC business

Both Lenovo and Fujitsu are known brands for PC sales. But China's technology company Lenovo has hit the PC market for quite some time. At the beginning of this year, the world's largest PC maker has grabbed the top position of HP Technology Lenovo has signed a contract to buy 51 percent of Japan's Fujitsu brand for returning to that space. Lenovo is spending $ 2.69 million for this. In October 2016, Lenovo and Fujitsu talked about mutual cooperation in the business of PC business.


Market analysts say that Lenovo has been losing profit in PC market over the past few quarters. In the second quarter of this year, the company made a profit of 1 crore 39 million US dollars which was 1 million 57 million US dollars a year ago. Lenovo has captured 17% market share in the July-September quarter.
According to market research firm Gartner, PC makers are facing problems because of mobile devices. Compared to 2016, the PC supply decreased by three to six percent in the third quarter of 2017. At the end of the 12th quarter, PC sales sales were seen decreasing.
